Yeh they were the first company i tried, sadly they couldn't help either. It looks like if i get them refurb'd it will have to be in one colour and with polished lips if i want
thanks mate, yeh i dont think they are very common but thats mainly because they are old! they were discontinued ages ago
specs will be - front 18x8 et 12 and rear 18x9 et 15 with the help a bit of spacing. Ideally at some point in the future i'd like to get some nice low offset wheels to cut out spacers all together and save some poundage but, im more than happy with these for the moment plus I have got the spacers already so its an easy fit.
Looking good, love the new wheels
thanks mate! I have sent you a msg about the coilover TLC
After a lot of grinding, sanding & polishing I've finished tidying up the wheels & I'm pretty happy with how they look so
que the photo-fest :D

Looking really smart mate! :smitten:
i like that, looks very tidy! maybe a touch lower on the front though but then
Thanks guys.
Unfortunately the front can't go any lower Sam, I had it lower before but my splitter hit my driveway and the speed bump at my local sainburys:wack:
windows next i'd say.
uk window tinting - overrevs.co.uk.
He will do the best job you can get - did every car I had
not something i have considered although i've seen some 14's with it and it looks pretty cool. not sure what mr policeman doing his rounds would have to say about it though, bit of a grey area afaik
na he can black the back behind the b piller, the back window & smoke the front sides then the back enhances the front making it look darker than it really is but as long as you get the fronts 70% clear/30% smoked.
Hes a professional & fits it legally.
Ive done mine legally if you see my pics / uploaded albums
have you ever found it attracts the attention of mr pc though? i really don't enjoy being pulled over makes me feel guilty even if i haven't done anything, its never happened to me in the sx touch wood but loads when i was younger in other cars
not yet lol but the gavers hate me anyway, Ive got a dangerous driving on my licence as had old bill up my arse for 3 miles, pushed in to speeding so i booted it & took em 2 1/2 weeks to nick me lol
im good now though lol very quiet lol

They've been fitted for less than a 2 years but after 2 winters they were looking very shabby

We've realised the springs really needed shot blasting & powder coating
to perfect the job but thats been added to the list for another day now.
Got to these in the nick of time though as a couple of the collars were badly seized &
required some serious persuasion to loosen, anymore than a couple & it would have
become soul destroying
how did you clean the threads and what are you using to protect them now??
we used a small wire brush to clean the threads & then coated it with white grease.
Gave the engine bay a clean today as it was looking a bit shabby:o
