My constant work in progress 14a with added jdm'ness!!!
I am sure that most people have seen pictures of my car on here before but I thought that It was about time I bore you all with them again and keep them all in one place:wack:
This is the car when I bought it

Looks much the same as it does now to be fair.
This happend shortly after I bought it while I was waiting in line at the post office to tax the car:mad:

While trying to source a new bumper I decided to treat myself to a 6000k hid headlight kit from HD as the stock lights are hopless and I'd heard many good things about this kit:nod:
These are a great upgrade and make you realise quite how bad the standard lights are

Ever since I bought the car it felt a little sloppy from the rear end. I decided to try and tighten the back end up by fitting some whiteline "pineapple" subframe locking colars like these.

While fitting these I managed to snap one of the main subframe mounts like the ones highlighted in the pic:mad:

Nissan obviously didn't forsee this being an issue as they made them so they weren't accessible and also not a replaceable part. I managed to get a member on here to cut one out of their car that was being broken and then set about trying to repair mine.

After we got this sorted I got my new front bumper and rear numberplate surround sprayed up for the bargin price of £100:thumbs:. I think the colour coded number plate surround makes a big difference to the look of the back end:thumbs:

It was at this point that I became addicted to underbonnet bling:ghey:
Within a few months my engine bay went from this:

I have done plenty else to to the car also including:
.Exedy extreme organic clutch and skimmed standard flywheel
.DBPower uprated gearbox mount
.Egay shortshifter
.Front + Rear strut braces
Plus more that I have forgotten.

I have since had it retested after a bit more work at a still weak but better 254 bhp/262 lbft @ 1bar. I am desperately in need of a remap as it's running really rich at the top end and killing my power aparently.
I should be fitting these in the near future, along with rebuilt calipers larger yellow stuff pads and braided lines all around.

I also have my Sard R2D2, Apex catch tank, SRB z edition rear valance and a full apex alignment arm set to get fitted

Today I finally got around to test fitting my SRBPower Z-edition rear lip I bought from the group buy. It's not a perfect fit and I will need to hand it over to a body shop to get it to sit right but I think it's going to look sweet:nod:

Looking at these pics makes me realise how soft the standard shocks are. I didn't realise the wheels were actually still on the ground when I jacked it up :D

Ha ha cheers Kev:thumbs:
For those that don't know we had a little south west mini meet today at Monkey magic's to have a go at fitting my new front brakes. Everything was going really well until somebody let me loose on the rear brake line unions and I managed to snap one of the standard hardlines:o Thankfully the bit I mangled was only about 6" long and after we spent ages searching through Martins vast stash of parts we realised that we could re-use one of the original hardlines from the front that we had replaced with new Hel braided lines:nod:
Want to say a big thank you to Martin (monkey magic) for all of his help today:notworthy I wouldn't of stood a chance of doing this on my own:no:
Anyway here are a few pics from today.

And while we were messing about with my brakes Martins mate was fitting his new Fmic around the front of the house, you can just make it out in the background:D

I'll also have to replace the front balljoint and steering rod arm. Is that an easy job or a pita?
