I'll put money on those being on airbag suspension. My mates got it fitted to his Golf GTI and it sits that low. As soon as he gets in he raises it to a decent height.

No way of clamping or towing his car either :), or nicking the wheels.

I always thought the airbagged stance looked really good, and its really just for show when parked. Each to thier own though ;)
