getting the plate surround colour coded to the bumper makes hell of a difference , chris! may look into getting mine done.
cheers mate. Does look much better colour coded. Does this mean your keeping yours now.
it does! basicly, i found a fabricators in tavistock that can modify my existing bike rack ( adding metal extensions but at the same ime, sacrificing the original design to fit the bike ) and theyre hopefully going to sort it out next week ! panic over! no tow hitches and money saved. win win situation me thinks!
Coilovers are now Fitted :D
Took me all bloody afternoon and a crushed finger but it's worth it. The ride height is all to pot at the moment as I set the fronts to the same as they were before but got my measurements wrong on the rear and manage to drop it a few mm :o

I've set them to full soft all around until they settle in. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what settings I should use when bedded in eg. 6 clicks front 8 clicks rear etc:confused:
very nice mate:nod: needs more of them lowery things on the front soon though:)
i've always been a bit sceptical with alignment - if the setup is miles out then you notice a big difference but when i've changed suspension on occasion in the past i've found it very hard to notice any difference at all, if anything it always feels better???? it sometimes seems like 100 quid for peace of mind but not having it done is frowned upon lol......
Ha ha I guess it'll help stop tyre wear if nothing else. Will definitely need it after the full alignment set is fitted tho.
Good news is I still don't have any rubbing on the back even with it being lower
Im saving for these now, decided to save more for the HR's instead of going with the TT's, whats the ride like, as im hoping there nice stiff with the 8/6 spring rate
Guess that answers one of my questions. Mine arent being fitted for a few eeks so keep us updated how they feel out on the roads
They are pretty stiff compared to standard even with them on the softest settings all around. I'm really liking them so far
Will do mate. It's not really fair of me to judge until they are set up correctly and bedded in. First signs are good tho:nod:
nice 1 chris
you will need alignment done once you get your ride height how you want it cause just cause the top mount camber bolts are in the same place either side there will still be a big difference , also when set up properly the grip difference is unreal:nod:
Still got alignment arms to fit as well. Will have to wait until after payday as the landrover is getting it's gearbox rebuilt this month:wack:
It'll only do about 50 miles in the meantime tho so all is good :D
good work fella. so need to start getting mine back together lol
Looking good matey
looks good pal. where did you get the last stainless pipe, before the throttle body from? cause im still running the black plastic one, and its causing me problems.
cheers neil.
cheers, will give bren a bell.
