You can run a 28r no problem, as long as you stick to the max boost pressure recommended for stage 1 which is 17psi I think? You can bang some 555s in there too it won't hurt and you can upgrade to stage 2 at any time once the 555s are there with a decent pump

I might look into getting a stage 2 ecu and some 555's then!! Already got a walbro in there so should be good enough :)
