can somebody help.
I have a uk Ca18det AUTO non lambda car, I have fitted an nistune ecu which was on a facelift lambda vehicle. When I start the car it runs for two seconds and then cuts out. My aem wideband reads 14.5. Is the ecu cutting out as there is no lambda signal?
The car specification is identical to the nistune setup.
Also is there a wiring difference between facelift models. Apart from the lambda.

Shouldn't cut out due to the lambda.
The ECU you've fitted is an Auto one?

Isn't there a small amount of wiring needs to be done with the conversion?
When the car starts and cuts out does it kinda splutter and die or just immediately stop?

Car was an auto which I converted to manual. Runs ok on original ecu. Fitted nistune ecu will not run for more than a couple off seconds. I will check fuel pressure. Thanks.
No dodgy old alarm/immobiliser that could be causing issues as well? or a turbo timer thats got screwed up.
No nothing like that. When I swapped the ecu for the old one it worked fine.
I have resolved the issue with cutting out, this was due to the fact there was no AFM setting on nistune. The issue I have now is car runs fine whilst driving but will go very rich at idle.
The nistune is trying to run in closed loop ( looking for a lambda signal ) however i dont have a lambda sensor. Is there a way around this thanks
you can turn off the lambda feedback inside nistune - though for the life of me can't specifically remember where it is in the new nistune software.
