78k mile 2 prev owner standard manual prefacelift grey S13 a.k.a Gracey
SOLD
Gracey is now ready for me to hand it on to the next keeper. I've tried to point out all the good stuff AND the less good stuff even though its pretty superficial.
She's a low-mileage, good overall condition, 2 previous owner, grey prefacelift manual S13 with very little rust that has had a bit of money and a lot of time spent on her by me over the last 12 months to bring up up to a condition that she could be used as a daily/rolling project.
She runs and handles as a standard S13 should.
I'd like her to go to someone that wants a near standard s13 to enjoy and look after rather than as the basis for a skidder or street-porn pipe-dream.
Good bits
Sailed through an honest MOT yesterday
Low mileage - 78K miles (40K in the first 3 years lol)
Very good standard interior and carpets
Immaculate pepperpot wheels
Everything works
One of the least rusty examples of an S13 that I've seen
Lots of provenance
Comes with personalised numberplate (so you could recoup some of your outlay if you wanted)
Also comes with a large number of spares (basically everything I have accumulated over the last 22 years of s13 ownership) probably worth something like £600 if sold separately.
Fitted with spacesaver for flat boot but spares include a full pepperpot wheel and tyre
Almost ready to use as a reliable daily (see below).
Recently had (last 12 months)
cambelt change
Toad Ai606 alarm with remote locking
4 brand new Conti PremiumContact 5s
front tension arms replaced
New (correct) battery
What you should do to it soonish
Refit undertray (I've repaired it but not got around to refitting it.
A Walbro fuel pump and o-ring (£60 and 30 minutes work). To use it as a daily on the original pump would be risky IMO.
Rear numberplate holder needs replacing at some point as it has dissolved (like they do).
Source and fit a battery retaining clamp
What does it need for a full resto so its worth 10K ?
Refit the scoop for the WMIC
Bodywork has a few dents and scrapes and has been resprayed (badly) on more than one panel. It looks ok from 10 feet but from 10 inches, eugh. Its not going to win any concours events without a decent investment in paint.
Engine bay would benefit from an engine out clean.
Brakes work fine but look a little crusty. Same goes for the suspension components
Replace the wheel arch liners. They have a couple of bits cut out of them (I know not why)
Renovate and refit mudflaps
Non-standard items
It doesn't have a rear spoiler any more. This isn't a problem. The bootlid has been smoothed over very nicely. No sinking or droop.
Exhaust is not OEM and not stainless. Again this isn't a problem. It doesn't blow or anything.
Pictures to follow...
