Worth pricing up if the car means a lot to you :) IF not, break it and make some pennies if you're not in a hurry
The only economic way to get welding done is to strip the interior down to carpet out yourself. Remove rear seats and rear side trim panels then grope around down to the top of the sills, there will be sound deadening foam and wadding in there that makes cars burn really well when doing rear sills. Turret welding, arch liners out. Saves at least 2 hours labour and it's a big chunk of the total bill.
MOT standard on chassis with black paint around £80/patch, if it's over £100/patch they saw you coming.
Pretty external with matching paint £400+/patch.
its never just a small patch on the back of the sill though. its always rear jacking points/subframe mounts. then if they are dead there then its rear pockets, front strut tops,front/top/rear, then where the brake lines/abs wires come through the inner wing.
I've decided to go ahead and sell it as it is. I'll be putting it up on eBay later this evening
is this still available?? message me phone number thanks
£2660 sold on eBay, you made good money there, well done.
