What battery do I go for to use with a relocation?

What battery did everyone go for when doing a relocation?

I don't get why S14 owners don't just buy R33 battery trays when relocating batterys

80 quid for a battery box??

It wasn't that one I bought. I was just showing it as an example.

I just moved my standard one on the last car, used a universal clamp from a kit car builder and bolted it into the floor.

I’ve tried loads of different combos but this is best battery tray I’ve found so far and the red top was good when it worked but have since killed 4 different optima batteries in under a year, so don’t recommend if the car isn’t used much or make sure to disconnect the battery lol I’ve now gone back to Bosch battery as they’ve never let me down

That’s the tray mounted in my laurel, with connector block in bay, additional fuse boards in boot and bay, with voltage stabiliser and trip breaker instead of inline fuse which I also use to manually kill the battery when not being used

Had a tiny lithium battery tucked in rear quarter on my 14a but wouldn’t recommend these unless it’s track only
