Internet Explorer 6 / file type question

Anyone know how to stop IE6 from popping up the multiple choice dialog box when I'm trying to run a .PLS file (Winamp playlist) from a website? I've tried turning off "always ask" and hitting open but it keeps on asking!! gah! Must disable!

You can get web sites with IE6? I had to uninstall it just to view sites, damn thing always wanted to send error reports to MS.

I instaled IE6 yesterday and iv'e had nothing but fecking problems ! how do i uninstal it? (im'e new to PC's)

Seriously I whacked the install on the other day and it just worked fine. Only thing I've noticed is it now blocks stupid cookies from stupid sites! hurray!

True IE6 was useful for blocking cookies, but getting the thing uninstalled is a nightmare, I had to select to revert back to a copy of IE5 as IE6 corrupted the 5.5s files. NIGHTMARE!
