Bad news matey.

Have had a similar thing happen to me, the project I am working on had been shelved. Looks like people will be going. Just hopefully not me.

Loads of peeps around at work have nothing to do. I have been given some work with more lined up by the looks of things.

so they are either trying to lull me into a false sense of confidence or maybe mny contract will be safe? Have got the longest contract here, so fingers crossed and all that............
