Chaps, Went for a pootle today and found myself in Dragon Motorsport on the Whitehall Industrial Estate in Colchester.
They've apparently been around for quite a bit under another name (or something)but only recently moved into their new premises.

Up on the racks when I went there were quite a few Skylines, a Scooby, and various other rapid bits of kit and the chap I spoke to seemed to know his stuff and also said he had Blitz or HKS air filter in stock (I think), roll on payday!!

Dave

PS, I've no connection with this garage in any way etc... just posting this for the benifit of my 200 driving brethren, although I do expect a finders fee!

No worries Keith - let people read!
I provide a service too you see Dave - only supplying parts though.
I know Alan Zeni and Bob Parker. Cant say its a particularly shall we say "healthy" relationship. A while back he practicay tried to shut me down cos he must have thought I was trading £1000000 a month or something and knicking trade off him - I Wish!

Dave - noticed on a driveway of a road in colchester a blue S14 and also a black Almera! Road begins with I and ends in H (so as not to practically GIVE the game away http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif.
Is this just a coincidence or is it you?

It MIGHT be me!!
Obviously caught me on a day I was too lazy to stick the car in the garage!

As far as Dragon goes, I just happened upon the place after trying to get hold of Blitz/HKS info in one of the less reputable car stores in town, had a chat with the chap there, after having a quick drool over some of the cars in the workshop.
They seemed quite helpful and the boys on the Skyline BBS seem fairly happy with them, but if I can get my toys elsewhere for cheaper then I'm all for that.

Mind you, when I asked why I'd never heard of them they said they didn't have to advertise as they had more tham enough work!! so I wouldn't lose any sleep over stealing food from their kid's mouths!

So how much would an air filter be then??

Dave

From what I've gathered, Dragon Parts are no more expensive than their equivalents ie Norris Designs, SE Nissan etc... BUT and this is the biggie, their labout cost is high, I know a mechanic down the road from them who knows one of their guys and says they make £50 an hour in labour costs....

So I'll probably get my bits via Matt, and find someone else to do the fitting!!

Matt, how much is a Goose zaust? (Ball park figures btw, not your prices :-) )
