Linux Virtual Servers. Bugger all to do with cars!

Anyone built one?

I'm rebuilding our web cache and want to load balance it between 3-4 servers.

Can't afford a hardware solution so go to go for a free software job.

Err no. Managed to set up a fileshare between Macs and PCs, firewalls, mail servers and finally proxy servers, but no load balancing..

Man your a techy :P (I'm just jealous really!)

This might be complete crap, but then I'm still in the office configuring our ATM Network - I'm knackered, pissed off and if I see another 3com network...

You could set up NFS mounts on separate servers and configure the cache to use the mounts????

Just bought 3 Dell 1.13Gb P3 servers each with 3Gb RAM, 6 x 18Gb 15,000rpm etc. Biggest shopping basket I've ever had, £12K. Nice http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif
