Just read how much power these were putting out - 1000 - 1300bhp seems to be a good estimation, BMW's Dyno's used to fail to read so high after that.

But then I see what boost they were running... 5 bar! Jesus christ. 70 psi. And it seems they've hit peaks of 5.5 bar ...

So WHAT kind of turbo's were these ??

Peter - currently driving a non scrabbly black Cav SRi - 130.5 BHP @177K miles. Highest BHP holder at the rolling road event until they put a 200SX on the rollers...
Car now dearly departed except for...
Blitz FATT type S turbo timer and a black ally tax disc holder. Just got a traction control system now, all I want is a 200SX again...

I think they used KKK turbos, like Fords group B rally car the RS200, later versions of that had a 2.1 4 cylinder engine with 800bhp. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

The thing about the BMW turbo F1 cars is that their 1.5l!!!!!!! and the block is very similar to the old E30 316 block!!

Really Paul?

Cos I've been considering putting my T25 on the BMW, that's a M10 engine.

Or perhaps my other CA18DET in the BMW.
Just have to convince my missus (who's car it is) that it would be perfect for learning to drive in. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Would be extremely funny to dump past an E30 M3 in a 316. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Jezz, your M10 engine is a tough old dog, alot tougher than the CA.....do it!!!!

I did consider putting two T2's on my 320I http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif damn that would have been fun.
