If it wasnt bad enough to have the 2***** off the road, the little old xr is having some problems!
2 weeks ago it sprung an oil leak, so I gets under the car and decides it looks like the sump gasket. 4 hours later its changed and still leaking oil, turns out to be the oil pressure switch, which I changed in 5 mins.
However after changing that it spurted out oil AGAIN!!! SO I change the sump gasket again thinking its that, but no change!!
So yesterday - out comes the engine, as soon as the engine was out the problem was clear - oil in gearbox meaning crank shaft oil seal!!! Thats now been changed, as has the sump gasket again, and a new clutch has been put on. Hoping the engine will be back in again today and all will be OK.
Just gotta recover from the "war" wounds now, got a big cut and bruise on my head where I nutted the car when underneth, and loadsa cuts on my arms and hands http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif
I hate cars!!!!
Though it should all be worth it me hopes!!!
