Hell yeah!!! A roads all the way m8!!!

We'll be going up though stroud and onto the bath road all the way there, there is a slightly quicker route but this one's simpler, so we shouldn't lose anybody!! :wack:

Not sure if I can set out that early yet. Gota drop the littluns of at their grand parents 1st.

I'll have to be real nice to the in-laws and hope I can talk them round to getting up early too.

MMM better still if the kids stayed over. :D

To get there for 7.30 we would have to be away from Glos by 6.30  a bit later if we go quick. not sure I want to be up that early on a Saturday.

What's the rush? (I havn't had my track pack yet so is there a time to be there by?)

If not then before 10:30 it'l just be a load of evo's and scoob's making the noise. :hurl:

Let me know what you think on timings.

Hi Rusty, it might be an idea if you pm'd cHiL as he lives just a little way from junction 10 on the M5. You could hook up with him and he could lead you through Cheltenham-Glos to where most of us are meeting up with each other.

It could be a good idea if we met at the Peel Centre in Gloucester? Then, we could all go out of town on the Stroud road?

What say all you guys?

It seems some people have gone from "being there about 9 ish" to being there at 7 or 7.30
ad999, i only live down the road from you as you know, to be there for 9am, what time would we need to meet up? if 9am is the target time, rather than 7.30, then count me in.

From Junction 11 (I think) off the M5, it'll be about 8-10 miles maybe??? Just come off the motorway and follow the A38 through town until you get to the Peel Centre. It might even be an idea for to to follow the A38 all the way from worcester.

Why don't we all meet at the bristol road mac d's at 7.30? It easier to get to and only round the corner from paul, plus we can get a quick bit of breakie before we leave! :D

I said the Peel Centre as it's stuck on the end of Stroud road. I thought it might have been simpler than further down Bristol Road. We can still get breakfast at Burger King if we're hungry, can't we?

16-05-2004, 08:17
Don't think it's open that early and i'm not sure if bk do a breakie type menu? The cole ave macys would probaly be easier for most other people to get to? But i'm easy really, so i'll go with the flow.

What route are you thinking of taking then? I mean it's easier for me not to go to Gloucester. I'd just go staight to stroud from Cheltenham and down the a46 to CCoombe.?..

shaun3937
16-05-2004, 10:40
macs and bk dont open til 8.00 i think, besides that, i'm hoping for a proper bacon roll when we get to japfest!
I personally think that peel centre is more central, and would be easier to find than any of the other places, for those that don't know where it is, though by the way this thread's going i would be suprised to see more than 2 or 3 of us!
plus its straight on to the stroud road from there and down the a46, could always meet up with chil at stratford park leisure center, say around 8.00? that way, if we miss anyone, they might make it to stroud before we head off again for castle coombe.
just a thought. ;)

If you think you want to do a track session, I would say go for it. as for the scoob and skyline it proves the biggest thing you have to fear is the nut behind the wheel.

The same sort of thing happend last year I guess they go out on track on several sessions and then really want to go for it at the end of the day.

I started by grinding it all flat, Taking the casting marks out and smoothing it all in. With a Black and decker power file (But now i have a large selection of grinding mops  ) Then i used a Stapol sisal mop with Super cut. Then a Calico 'B' mop with Green polish and finished with a Calico 'G' mop and Blue polish.

I took the very long way round to this doing it about 4 times as ive never taken rough cast alloy to mirror finish before. You need all of those mops in at least 3 sizes to do the plenum. I have about 10 polishes and 25 mops after that plenum. Most things you can do with 1 mop and 1 polish.
If you need a hand or it finishing let me know

started by grinding it all flat, Taking the casting marks out and smoothing it all in. With a Black and decker power file (But now i have a large selection of grinding mops ) Then i used a Stapol sisal mop with Super cut. Then a Calico 'B' mop with Green polish and finished with a Calico 'G' mop and Blue polish.

any links to where i can get similar from???
