URGENT Help Request

Can anyone help me get my gear box back on my car? I've got it off, changed the clutch but can't do the last 1/2 inch.

Help! I need to get it done tomorrow as its my only car. If need be I can tow it to somewhere close if that'd help :(

have you tried rotating the prop flange to locate the splines,it only takes that much to locate

Yep, it won't spin?

Is it worth backing up box and trying to put back on? Only prob is, it took us ages to line it back up while under the car. Bear in mind we are doing it on beside a road, not on a ramp...

I had problems with an S12 until I jacked up the front of the engine. It lined up nicely then and slid on ok.

it sounds like it's engage the splines but just needs that little bit more to align the gearbox try lifting and lowering the box while rotating it slightly it will go on it can be just a bit fiddlely with the last bit
