Trying to organise Go Karting in Rayleigh Essex

Am gonna phone em tomoz to get prices and numbers needed, races, laps etc.
So anyone who can make it to Rayleigh in Essex and wants to come put your names down and how many places you want and I'll see if its viable :thumbs:

If this gets a reasonable response could one of the mods please make it a sticky so I can keep it updated :)

Didnt know there was one at Lakeside. Thats cool could see how many are interested and if enough wanna go I'll organise it wherever the majority want to go, or do it once at each venue :thumbs:

Right so far I think the best one to go for is the 1 hour Endurance at Rayleigh.
I have decided to start there as its not too expensive and each person is guarenteed 20 minutes track time plus a practise.
To get this running I need 8 teams of 3 people per team. So at the end of this post I'll put my name down as a definate and if you deffo wanna do it keep cutting and pasting until we get to 24. After that add your name as a reserve and if anyone drops out it'll be first on the list goes in and so on. Once I have the names and a full compliment I'll get some dates and we can sort it out. Shouldn't take too long. Also put down if you would prefer a weekend or evening session. Cost per person will be £25.00 and this includes all safety gear etc.
If this goes ok and people want to do it again I will then look into the Lakeside one for the summer.
Hope this meets with everyones approval. If people outside of Essex wanna come then thats cool too :thumbs:
Also for the first meet it has been requested that this be kept SXOC only, so dont bother adding your best mate and Wills mother :wack:

I have just rung them up and they have said that weekends are gonna be really difficult to book. They are currently booked until August.
They can however give us a spot at 6:30pm on Saturday 12th June or 10am on the 19th June. If we want either of these spaces I need to know quickly as they will get filled quick.
Apart from that the worlds your oyster :D Mondays last booking is at 8:30pm, any other day is 7:00pm.
I was thinking either Tuesday 8th June at 7:00 pm or Wednesday 9th June at 7:00 pm. These dates dont interfere with anything else do they???

Actually there are 2! but not normally used as there the spare karts, the chassis looks a lot different to all the others, its a much darker green than the other karts so if you get that one then you'll probably go about 1/2 sec quicker round the track. That doesnt sound much but its quite a distance on the track.

Also what was pretty funny is that when people book stag events,meetings etc some of the drivers will 'secretly' come down a few weeks before the event and practice and ask the marshals on tips on how to take the bends lol!

Karts are new, had only done 3 races before us,

17 karts on the track at once!!!
