Yes i know its the 4th Thursday again but dont want it clashing with the Colly meet :p

Cambs meet is under discussion to be moved anyway, maybe to first wednesday, Bloody Vipers getting a pub job on tuesday nights.
Why does it matter anyway? none of you lot ever venture out of Essex :p

hmmmm, not sure how we're gonna get there now, pug is feelin a bit worse for wear after doing about 900 miles in the last 2 weeks, would like to fix her up before doing another trek, and GmasterT has blown his turbo, which i'm not sure if it will be fixed on time. May have to pull a few late ones again, OH JOY :wack:

I dont think ill be able to turn up have to work late! rah I might be able to go to the milton keynes one on the 25th depending on money, though i think it might be a members only one... I should be a member by now lol! but i think my check must have got held up somewhere / lost in the post lol! sent it 4 weeks ago! :D oh well never mind :thumbs: Ill come to one eventually! :rolleyes:

well that was quite an eventful night. Poor old Amy (spirit) had the fan come adrift on her car and after much effort from Steve, George and myself (and a few others passing tools and holding torches), we gave in and the car had to be taken home on a flat bed :( .
Then just as we pulled off the M25 onto the M11, Georges car threw an epi, we pulled over and the manifold and turbo were glowing white hot, we got it going again by pushing the center of the CAS and it was ok for a couple of miles (until the streetlights ran out) so there i was at 1.30 under a bridge bodging the CAS to get the car running properly. At least we've identified the intermitent problem now. phew

The studded flange that the pulley and fan are bolted to came off the water pump spindle. I suspect that when the car had a front ender the fan got a knock and slightly unbalanced it so it was wobbling around which wore the bore of the flange making it a non-interference fit. We got the bugger back on but as soon as we started the car the bloody thing came off again.
Thank god it happened at the HWH and not on the way home, a fan and pulley coming off on the M25 could have caused a bit of a mess.
Yep - that was me Rob. Saw what i thought was your car there, but it seemed in tandem with its exact clone parked in front of it :confused: so couldnt work out who's was who's :D
I have a spare fan and pulley, just so Amy knows;):D
