Due to the sucess of the last meet on the 8th Feb and people asking for another one how does sunday 4th April sound?

Same place but earlier perhaps? Say 11am... then we can mooch on down to the pub with the nice food in it!!

For those that didnt make it last time its at the Bakers Arms pub off this roundabout in the link below....

Map here (http://multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?X=395500&Y=92750&width=500&height=300&client=public&gride=&gridn=&keepicon=false&coordsys=gb&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&lang=&scale=5000&down.x=11&down.y=15)

We could have an alternative venue, but I have no idea where!

Kirk,

Let me have a think for a while. The Bakers Arms is OK but there must be somewhere with a bigger car park and better nearby roads!

Any Sunday is good for me.

Spoke to Fro yesterday and he was suggesting the Worlds End Pub. I vaguely recall there being a reason why didn't use it last time.

Anyone have any objections?

I had a quick look in the worlds end today as I was passing and it might not be a good idea after all...
The carpark is reasonably sized but it was very busy :(

Alternatively, we could go straight to the clay pipe (where we went after the baker's arms last time)? I ate there a couple of weekends ago and the food's fine

The only downside to that was the fact that they'd stopped serving by the time we got there.

I think they stop doing food at 2:confused:

Having just taken my lovely old Mum for a Mothers Day lunch in Swanage today, if people are up for it (weather permitting) we could have a discreet run from the clay pipe along some feckin' awesome roads into the Corfe Castle area where there are a few more nice pubs (the Halfway inn has a HUGE sandy carpark:D )

Corfe castle is nice, good pub at the bottom that does UBER cod and chips!!!

We could meet at the bakers arms / clay pipe say 11 am... then drive in convoy over to Corfe Castle area??

The Architect

Which day are we doing it on?

Sorry guys,

I've had a last minute disaster. Mate of mine from NZ turned up on the doorstep this morning needing accomodation!

I won't be making it down to the meet later today, I feel really bad seeing as I was making all the noises about having another one :(

Not next week!!!

The 200 is 'off the road' at the moment getting a few new bits put on and I'm not expecting her back until after the 11th.

I'll try to turn up in an old banger if I'm back down south next weekend!

Great photos mate (might have to pinch one of them). The 10mm extra drop on my front end is well noticable (to me anyway) :D Had a chance to try out a bit ot tight conering too wich was good, watch out Haynes crew :D :D

Hopefully it will be partially sorted by the next meet :p (although it still won't be anywhere near as low as yours)

How did you achieve the extra 10mm drop? coilovers?

RSendout
30-03-2004, 13:40
Compleatly by accident actully.......HKS pillow ball top mounts that came with the wrong spacers  . As long as Mr.MOT is OK with it I might leave it, I think it looks a bit more aggresive like it is.

can't see why it would be an issue for the MOT. Looks great

Whens the next one? im thinking of selling up and going for a 200SX.

Theres a nice black one in the Autotrader at the mo, with 18's and cream leather, from Bournemouth. Anyone know it?

apparently, it's 1 mile from my house (according to auto trader anyhow) although I've never seen it. I don't mind popping along to look at it if you're going to view it

Thing is I would have liked to be there if my car wasn't up on a set of axle stands and the brakes worked.

The price seems quite reasonable. Depends what sort of condition it's in though - I've seen a couple advertised at a similar price in autotrader in the past that seemed like a good deal until I actually saw them :(
