Anybody know about headunit wires on S13 SX?

hi all, I've just removed the standard head unit off my car put I want to fit a Sony CD unit, put im having trouble wiring it up im not sure which is live, earth etc and I hav'nt a tester, it maybe a stupid question but does anybody know what colour certain wires are on the 3 blocks coming from the car any info would be great as I have never fitted a head unit before and nobody can fit it for 2 weeks, thanks gav.

you can get an adaptor from the standard loom to the sony loom from a local ice dealer so no wire cutting required but as a rule red is live black is earth blue(a thin blue wire) is the remote to the electric ariel if you got one but don't blame me if you blow up!!

I have a sony head unit, £9.99 for the adapter, saves soooo much tw@ing around.

The cradle is the earth and isn't made until you screw it back in.
And watch out with the wierd aerial, it has two pins and mine only works with one of them.
