Hii all.

Im about to install a new stereo into my s13. Its one of those sony black panel things.

How do I get the old one out? It seems like the surround needs to come off, but I dont know where the screws are, or if there are any clips behind the plastic etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

TIA

Ian.

On my car the surround just pulls off and clips back into place. It does look a bit off putting if you are used to fords like me. Try losening it around the gearstick first.

The stereo then just has four screws which are visible.

I Had the same question myself a few months ago. the fascia just 'clicks' off and then clicks back on. just lift up the plastic at the rear of the gear gater and move forward popping the fascia off. to replace just reverse the proceedure.
