One of the boy's on SW-CC has booked us up for a Rolling Road Day @ interpro. We are booked in for Sunday April 18th.
Take a look in the Events section or let me know if you want adding . . .

As long as we can get around 25 cars then we're looking at £25 each. I'll hopefully be taking an Evo 1 that i've got coming over from Japland :D

Where is Interpro? not over the bridge is it? Is it worth going to rather than Tommies in Abercynnon?
Well several people were dubious about tommi'e spower figures. I felt they we're pritty resonable on car's below 200bhp but car's above that the figures became a bit exagerated.
The main reason why SW-CC have gone with it is because they do 4x4 stuff and the Evo and Sunny owners wanted to get thier car's run. I'll be taking an Evo 1 as long as everything goes to plan.
Should be a good day out too! :D

Well my car made 277bhp last time. All I had added was the Apexi boost controller (instead of a Bren Device) and an SAF-C and i was getting 302bhp at less than 5000rpm . . . I find that hard to believe! If he'd run it all the way it would have been the most powerful car of the day.
I could be wrong though . . .:rolleyes:

I will be up for it, for comparison purposes, although I have to say I don't expect good results from Interpro. Last time I was there it made just under 300 but with just over 200 at the wheels. How is the transmission absorbing 80+ bhp?? Their graphs also do not show torque or rpm.

There was a big difference in tepmeratures between the two days though.
How much would that give you??
I'm suspicious of rollers anyway, results to be taken with a pinch of salt.
Also, my mate Dave has been to Tommies 3 times now.
1st time he got 178 with de cat, K&N
2nd time swcc day, de cat, K&N, Hybrid turbo at 11 psi he got 173 :confused:
3rd time, (last swcc r road) !96 with goose, fmic, and above.
Its all a bit of a lottery me thinks.
Might be interested in this if i'm not too late, might sound a bit dumb but where is the thread for this in the sw page. Or is this in refference to another forum? :confused:

There's a lad here in Cheltenham who put his 14a on the RR at Powerstation and he got 300@fly but only 205 @ wheels :wack: WTF is that about? I was gonna go there myself as it's in my home town and I've heard good things about 'em but I'm not sure about it now... :(

You can compare it against other cars on the day. If mine is the only one with stupidly high transmission losses showing then I'll know theres a serious problem :(
Good excuse for a Cusco diff and new gearbox I guess.

O.k guys - Interpro is only just the other side of the bridge so will only take us just over an hour to get there.

Cool. Fastest way there is down the M48 (nice deserted road now ;) ), take first junction once you cross the bridge and go through the lanes to Thornbury.

Cool, the dreaded fuel cut struck again this morning.
11 degrees outside temp, went to overtake a van - not really trying - pull out accelerate - BBBRRRRMMMM BONK! - pull back in feeling annoyed.
All this in 3rd and not even going hard! :eek:
(I noticed that I had just passed 4k when it happened (again) so looks like it either needs the inhibitor a little higher, or I have to start worrying about something else big time :( )

infact you can have the printer too, it's needs ink though, hence why I bought another printer LOL.

My run got aborted at 5.2k due to det but still made good power upto then and looked like it would have matched the 322 I ran a while back. :)

Mine also has that silly dip in the transmission loss graph (whats that all about?)... He told me to ignore the flywheel figure (286) as it would be totally wrong.
254hp @ wheels at 5200-ish rpm sounds promising though, so ~could~ be looking at possibly 300+ at the wheels if it revs out without detting? I'd be happy with that.
On another note commiserations to Nick :( Another 200 bites the dust :cry: Glad he's OK though and seemed to be coping :)

It was a really good day out with the exception of nicks last minute modifications. Gutted for you, but at least you were able to walk away from it.
I'll hopefully run mine at the next RR day.

My car made a respectable 244bhp@fly (197bhp@wheels) - not bad for a T25 Hybrid running 15/16psi! :D
An no audible detting either, does that mean my car was the only 200 of the day whose run wasn't aborted due to det? :smash:
Interpro was a top venue IMO - the operator seemed like a top bloke, knew what he was talking about, and they spotted when my car started wheelspinning like a bitch on the first run :D
