sound deaderning

is it worth it? my car sounds tin'y if i put subs in the boot, will it need sound deaderning?

Most definately,
I've done my Almera already and it's made a hell of a difference, I think there was a post on here onthe best way to do it, try a search, or go onto scoobynet, it's been covered a number of times.
I used Brown Bread on the doors and front floors and it really did reduce mid/high frequency road noise.

I used Dynamat through the boot of my S14a, to cut down road noise, it's done a great job. Expensive but easy to apply.

DJFish I'd seen Brown Bread in a few cars and there appeared to be a certain amount of "leakage" of brown, asphalt gunge from the material which I was told was caused by high temperatures in the summer

Yes, but they also put a Kenwood stereo in the Mc F1 too.......and they're ****e!!

I suppose, but with 630bhp under your right foot, you're not going to play about with the stereo much!

(just think, a trapped nerve in your right foot could destroy a set of tyres!)

Sound Deadening the boot, also has the effect of bringing the sound stage forward.
