You may be very lonely mate cos its valentines day...(sure mrs.nicely would give you a kicking anyway :D)..and i for one have a lady to spend it with ;)

Prolly best off postponing it for a week.....

Dont think "lets go and stand in the cold at longwell" would sit well with most peeps women folk on that particular day :D (unless your TAC ;))

SMiFFAD

Add to that the bournmouth meet the weekend before.......

Dont wanna meet overdose :D

Would have thought that most Valentine's stuff would be happening in the evening. ;)

There's also a number of people who won't be going to Bournemouth for the same reason the Bournemouth possie don't go to Longwell :)

I can't make Bournemouth now either. :(

Could those concerned say what they think about postponing?

Week after (21st) would be better I think, as that way it won't clash with the Welsh meet either (assuming they stick to their word and have theirs on the 3rd Sunday ;) ).

Therefore the 3rd. Sunday is the 15th.

Yes, it is :) So if we have ours on the 21st it won't clash :) My point exactly :wack:

And me. Might get a few more mods fitted by then. (Doubt it though with the weather as it is). Oh for a garage to work in.

Heh, I'm hardly the most romantic person in the world - wouldn't let a little thing like Valentine's Day stop me going to a meet!!

However, from 6th Feb I'm technically homeless  so prolly won't get round to making a February meet in any case :(

Maybe see you guys in March :)

While I think of it, this is just a reminder for those who may not have noticed that this months Longwell meet is the 21st and NOT this Saturday on the 14th

Although only an idiot would muddle up dates for a meet  :o

Is Nicely going?
I wasnt going to go as my car is sounding like a tractor at the moment due to gasket issues and I dont think the run would do it much good.

Smiffad: Thanks for helping out mate, I am sure something can be sorted:)

Nicely

Oh no! What happened mate? :(

Andy Dee
17-02-2004, 11:17
The oil pressure problem got worse :(

Was keeping an eye on the breathers and then on a trip back from Swindon with RC, noticed a faint tapping low oil sound, and luckily i pulled straight over.

Had oil pissing out somewhere from the bottom of the engine, but was too dark to see exactly where. Due to past experiences i always carry 5ltrs of oil in the boot so i slowly limped the car home.

Haven;t had a full report yet, but it looks like the oil filter housing had become porous. Really rare apparently.

Good news is that the internals have been inspected and are still in mint condition.

Car is being re-assembled and should be collecting this week, so will make Longwell after all!

Yes I know. So why, when you left before me did it take so long to get to the crossroads? It's quicker to go via Warmley, Bridgeyate and up the A420 and then the A46 to them. :D :D :D

Coz I go the the *cough* interesting *cough* way :wack:

It's a lot further than your route :p

Plus, there is actually a much quicker way to get there if you go via Pucklechurch ;) .
It's just thats not so much fun, I also hadn't decided to go for a blat when I reached that junction! :smash:

Well, to cut a long story short, my car was fecked.

Started fitting the injectors and z32 afm with a mate at his garage, afm fine, injectors - not good. Now have a stupid massive misfire at about 3.5krpm. Tis strange because we put them in his skyline and it ran fine. So, its still sat there after spending 8 hours today trying to fix it  :( Needless to say, the guys in the other cars were not so happy (Skyline and RX7) - so they went to the pub and got hammered! :furious: :indiff: G*ts.

Now they are sat with me watching drift videos.

My car = off the road.....typical. s'pose is my fault for planning to fit them the day of the meet :ghey: :annoyed: :annoyed:

Sorry all. I keep letting the south west boys down....:( :annoyed:
