OK guys and girls, Due to the fact that we hold the meet on a Saturday has anyone objections to moving it to the second SUNDAY of the month? By doing this we will be able to welcome members of the Welsh contingent.

Your comments, please.

Holding it on a Sunday means that my journey home would be fraught with the Sunday madness that is the M5/M6 so I'd prolly give it a miss.

But I'm only a hanger on anyway as it's outside my 'area' so just ignore me :)

No way JB, I was only asked by the Welsh contingent whether it was possible. It makes no difference to me which day it is held on. Let's see what the others think.

I think I'd rather keep it on the Saturday as my Sundays are normally spent hungover :D

I was only trying to say that as I'm not local to the meets then the opinions of those whose local meet it is should be more important Barry especially as I don't turn up to all of them :)

alright guys,
my vote goes to keeping it on the saturday too, sundays are usually a write off due to many alcoholic beverages the night before

cheers

Getting the impression it may well be illegal for us to meet on sunday! :p

Either that or there will be a lot of tired/ :hurl: peeps!

Why can't one meet be 1st Saturday of the month and the other be 3rd Saturday? :)

Nicely

Even though the Bristol meet had been established on the 2nd Saturday of each month LONG before the Welsh meet, I don't think moving it one weekend would make much difference. Agree with Jeff that if one moves, so should the other.

The Welsh meet is now sheduled for the 3rd. Sunday each month. Check it out. The only reason for us possibly moving to a Sunday was to allow the from Wales that work on a saturday to be able to cross the Severn and join in the Longwell massive.

Just thought I'd bring this back to the top, and, in case there's any confusion over the date ('cos this thread confused me!), it'll be on Sat 10th Jan 2004 :)

I'll be there, I may even have my engine run in by then!

I'll be giving it a miss this time as it clashes with the Autosport Show at the NEC :(

Dolomites are nice, but he will get bored very quickly I reckon, after the 200.

If he's selling for the same reasons you did I guess I can understand.

It's not going in my car, it's for a mate. Won't work with my phone.

His car's off the road up on axle stands with no engine or gearbox in it at the moment, so I don't think there's much point in fitting it yet :D

It's something far simpler Pete.

My cars got a cash back warrenty. I've got stuff attached to it.
It's being serviced in a few days, so they all have to come back off again:rolleyes:

Ah well, this should be the last service before the warrenty runs out.
Then I'll be going a little insane:D
