Cat Replacement

I'm looking to replace the cats on my '97 S14 which i believe has 2 cats. Just wondered whats available in terms of de cat pipes and down pipes ?? Is their much power to be gained and what are the insurance/legal implications ??

I have replaced the large cat underneath the S14a with a decat pipe (T304 stainless) from tubetorque. Am really impressed with it, car sounds a LOT louder and appears to have more torque. This cost about £120 including delivery. They have a jig made up already so you don't need to drive to Macelsfield.

The car passed its MOT with only the one cat and one of those Ecotek jobbies.
