It's literally half way down their links page - http://www.puresx.co.uk/links.html - But you'll need to go on their bulletin board to look for part numbers... I'm afraid I haven't got time to do this myself at the mo http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

The link is by an image advertising 'Nissan PArts.cc' - which I think is the web site the link takes you to.

Go to www.nissanparts.cc (http://www.nissanparts.cc) and use these part numbers to order them. They will probably make you aware by email after you've placed the order that international shipping is $25 for them. They take about a week to arrive. Total cost inc shipping is around £60 depending on exchange rate.

Do these clear indicators/side repeaters fit on the S14?

I know a few people who have them fitted to S14a's but has anyone fitted them to the S14?

Are these the side repeaters or the front indicators ?

Bean,

I think the ones I fitted to my S14a are the wrong ones (as in standard S14 ones)....they were a bastard to fit.

If you dont have any joy getting any you can have mine for the cost of some propper S14a ones!

Cheers Ross, I'm not in any rush to get some clear jobbies, just wondered whether anyone had fitted them to an S14?

If you get the S14a versions I'll have your old one for market price minus depreciation http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Side repeaters fit both s14 and 14a, and are from the current Almera. Front indicators differ slightly between the two.

Some UK Nissan dealers are prepared to order the fronts, if you provide them with the part number. Cost is about £25. Someone on this board posted that he got his via his local dealer, but can't remember who. If you can find out and they're not local, the dealer will normally post them to you, or your local dealer for collection.

Guys, the part numbers on my site are for the S14a NOT the S14. You may be able to find the part No's for the S14 from the site. I'll mail the guy at Nissanparts.cc later and ask him if he can sort them out for me. If you mention my website to him, you may get a small amount off.

BTW, it is me who can get standard parts from Nissan at a discount. Can get imported bits too.

Nissan Colchester is the dealer that i got my indicators from, Front and side.

Fronts £27 each and sides £15 each.
My car is a S14a.

Currently a 8 week delay on clear fronts.
Mine came via a dealer in Texas as they had none at the factory.

Nissan Part numbers for clear front indicators
the S14a ones are 26135-70F25 & 26130-70F25
Left turn signal > 26135-70F25

Right turn signal > 26130-70F25

Clear side indicators
26160 - BM400

Fitting of the side indicators is not too hard. the original loom is almost the same as the hole on the back of the indicator but requires some triming, however the orange bulb is too long, so one the indicator is trimed you need to pust gently on too the loom and seal with either tape of silicon.

Clear does look good.

Almera side repeeters are a tenner from my Nissan dealer, have to order in 2 days. But as I am there in the morn having a new heated rear window switch fitted just because the bulbs gone, they are very kindley going to pop one out of a showroom car to compare before I order them.
P.S. whats the differances between the s14 and s14a??? Mines a Preg new shape with slope in bonnet and chinky eyes headlights (sorry if any Japs on here but best description even you'll agree) does this meen mines an a model or what?
I confused, just thought UK cars were s13 and s14 and that s14a was an import.
I'll let youz all know the outcome.

Congratulations David, you are the proud owner of an s14a.

Almera repeaters will fit, but although they appear to look identical to the orange ones (apart form the colour of course), the bulb housings are different, so a straight swap isn't possible without a bit of tweeking: The almera indicator comes with its own bulb, and bulb holder, but the plug on the back of the holder, which plugs into the socket of the loom inside the wing, is different to the that of the existing orange repeater, and this necessitates cutting off the skirting around the plug with a stanley knife, so the two pins of the plug are exposed. These then fit directly on to the existing socket. You'll know what I mean as soon as you examine the standard and clear bulb holders side by side. Once you've plugged the bulb holder in you should cover the join with silicone to stop water ingress. Like Cookie says, although it looks like you can simply swap the standard clear bulb for the orange and use your existing bulb holder, the latter fits too deeply into the almera housing, so there's not enough clearance for the bulb. Don't be tempted to try it anyway - if you force it in or you'll crack your lovely new lens.

Geoff,

Just been down Halforbes and the Almera repeaters that they have in the catalogue are not the same shape as the ones on my S14a. Mine are oval and the Almera ones are square.

Whats going on?

Cheers

AAhhhhhhhhhhh,

That would explain things. So when I was just at the dealer half an hour ago ordering my clear fronts, I should have ordered the repeaters as well.

The standard oval, clear repeaters featured since the release of the face lifted almera (year 2000). The part number has been posted up previously (can't remember where), but if you phone Nissan, describe the part (ie oval, clear, latest almera) there shouldn't be any ambiguity. They are ambidexterous (ie one part fits both sides), aand my dealer charged £12.50 a piece, which is a bit steep since my clear fronts, which I picked up from the States came out at £17 each. However they do look loads better than the standard ones.

I'd love to comment but unfortunately under Dave R's new regime I'm not allowed to make any allusions to transmissions, for fear of being permanently banned from the site.

I asked my local dealer for 26160 - BM400, telling then why I wanted it for the S14a.

They said that the Almera has never been fitted with clear side repeaters, pointing to the models in the showroom which were all amber, and refused to order the part! Are they wrong, or is this a special item that is guaranteed to have a clear lense?

Contacted Nissanparts.cc and courtesy in the states and the lenses they supply only fit S14a's. For the S14 we need Japanese lenses. I have found some at
http://www.takakaira.co.jp/php/table.php3?id=63&cat=3#
Part No: 20650
Model: Front Indicator Lens
Description: smoke/clear
Car Model: Silvia
Year Made: 93.10~96.5
Chasis: S14

Expensive though $130 for the pair.

26160 - BM400 is the correct part number for the clear side's (I have them and have checked the box sitting next to my laptop).
As per box...
Lamp Assy - Side
26160 - BM400

They can't refused to order a part?
or
Try another dealer
Or
Contact nissan and tell them the dealer is being unhelpful (Won't make a difference but you will feal better)

As a note they also look like they would fit a 100NX.

I ordered my Clears from West London Nissan on the Boston Manor Road. Just handed over the part numbers (as mentioned above by Cookie) and they were ordered. Both the side repeaters were in Stock and one Front one was available at the main Warehouse. Had to wait about 2 weeks for the other Front one to be brought in from Europe. Total cost was about £80 or so.
