Nice zorst! This hasn't been that popular a seller over here (I quite like the "aqualung" style of it myself).
For those of you that dont know, it consists of twin 60mm pipes from the cat back, with an 80mm flange and then twin cans in S/Steel with 85mm tailpipes.
As its a JASMA aproved system, it wont be that loud. When I ran my drager with the cat still in, I was VERY suprised how qute it was - just a slightly deeper note. Even with the de-cat, its sill not that loud, particlarly at a steady 85 mph.

£599 + vat is not a bad price for what you get.

When i rang TDI about a month ago, they had a dual dragger, which had been fitted to an S14 for about 3 weeks and then removed and exchanged for a hyper muffler. Apparently the Dual Dragger was to quiet for the customer. They were selling it for around £480 + VAT and said it was as new, might be worth giving them a ring. Very nice exhaust !!

Hi there!

Actually it was MY Dual dragger that TDI have, yes it was too quiet, yes it was only on for three weeks, and now I have a Hyper that is louder than Godzilla. The Dual Dragger is a nice sound but not gratuitous enough for me.

My last car was a TVR Griffith 500 with a sports exhaust so I like a lot of noise!

I went to Bruntingthorpe with the Hyper on my S14, and my car on full throttle on the straight exceeded their noise regs. To give you an idea, both Diablo's and F40's are under the limit on the same straight.

So I admit it, I'm just a big kid. 8-)

Hi Steve
Is it your green S14 on the TDI site with the front mounted intercooler ?? How did you get around the fuelling problem, running that much boost ??

Sure is bud http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif And that dashing handsome (and rather indistinct) bloke at the wheel is me. There is no limit to my exhibitionism! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif

Actually on cold days I have been known to get fuel cut and TDI aren't happy winding up the defencer any more, which is why they are currently in the process of fitting an FCon5.

TDI reckon they've set up 200SX's to similar spec without the FCon with no problem, but my personal experience is that 1.0bar is a safer bet if you're keeping the same fuelling.

Uh-oh running out of space in the car now. The slot under the hi-fi has the EVC, the box between the seat has the traction control, and now the glove box has an FCon. Hmmmm.....

Steve

I thought they were the biggest I could fit without bodywork contact/scrapes/alterations - now I discover I could have had a 9" rear with 255/40s... blast!

BTW I teach Seal Lung Kung-Fu in Wimbledon and Kingston, and use the word Dude far too often, hence the nickname!

Actually a vague phonetic version of the chinese for 'little dragon' though indeed it does sound like an art for defending against asthmatic sea bound mammals.

I know "lung" is dragon but I wasn't sure about the seal bit!

I've been doing kung fu for about 5 years now (feng shou - "hand of the wind" style and tam tui - "spring leg"). Not training as much as I'd like though these days, what with work and the pub....

Cool! I haven't heard of your style but then it's not surprising. I looked up in the Martial Artists Source book and the list of Kung-fu styles covered three entire pages! (>A4 pagesize)

As my old sifu used to say "Kung-fu rocks". Okay, well maybe he didn't, but if he could speak any English he probably WOULD have done.
