Can anybody recommend suitable replacement shocks for S14a. I already have lowering springs.
I was also considering F/R strut braces but do they make much difference to road driving?

Chris,

Koni do some shocks for the S14a. Give Matt_S a shout and he will sort you out a good price.

Also, I found one of your photo's in the scanner, so will post it back to you. Have you received the CD yet?

John.

Dark,

Have recently fitted Eibachs to my S14a, and it has made a HUGE difference. Matt_S got em a good price on these.

Enigma,

Am expecting to be my F+R Cusco Strut braces soon, by all accounts they make a HUDE difference to the handling of the car too. Nathan 200sx reckons it is the best mod he has done. (Well the most noticable) Matt_s once again got me these.

I'll back you up on the eibachs ... an amazing difference, the car corners like it never did before, you can get the power down on the road .... and cosmeticaly it looks the dogs danglies

Yeah,

Just got to go REALLY slowly over speed ramps though now, or the Blitz exhuast scrapes http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

I agree, the car handles so much better and also look loads better too. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Dark,

Would agree with John the eibach springs made a big difference to the handling but the drager grounds on many speed humps as they drop it 30mm.

Yes I thought that when I first saw the Drager fitted to the 200 at Donnington.
Speed bump loving Zorst http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Thanks for the adivce may well have to invest in some springs then.

Have lowered two cars before and it made a fantastic change to them, so it looks the 200 will be the same http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

My 200 is also lowered on Eibach springs, and my Blitz NUR also scrapes over large (and not-so-large) bumps.

It's the mid section that hits things (round, bulky, and no hole to tuck it into!) rather than the tailpipe (round, bulky, but tucked up under the bumper!)
