Sounds like a bearing from the front right

When the car is warm (about 10 miles). There is a noise which sounds like a front right wheel bearing. It went into Nissan in Winchester on Friday and they found nothing ? It is still doing it. Help anyone !!!!!! 11 months warranty 99 on a T 200SX Touring.

Is the noise constant or does it change with speed/cornering ?
I'd have thought that if the bearing had gone/on the way out it would be noisy all the time not just after a few miles and worse when cornering.

I had a noisy front offside wheel bearing for about 3 years on my first s14. It never amounted to anything. If you are suspicious Nissan may be avoiding a warranty claim, try going to Kwik fit or one of the other fast fit garages who do free diagnosis, to see what they think.

Watch your tyre tread too!!!

Had my bearing playing silly buggers and noe have quite worn inner front right tyre!!! Grrrrrrr

Is it possible a lhs rear bearing could cause wear to the middle of the tyre?
weird i have this quite loud noise but i can't track it down, my thoughts are
wheel bearing
diff (could a diff problem cause tyre wear)
throwout bearing(whirring noise)

If I were you I'd get in contact with Winchester Nissan again and say that the car has not been fixed to your satisfaction.

You might have to get a bit arsey and demand that the problem is rectified.

Tell them to testdrive the car, or have a mechanic sit in the car when you drive it.

Give em' hell!
