Sparkplug gaps

Hi all,
Just got some gear from ND, K&N cone and a boost actuator with colder plugs. The problem being that I don't have the owners handbook so I dont know the plug gap settings. I was just going to take it from the one's I take out but I just read a thread saying you can gap them closer for a better spark. Any suggestions?

I think there is only a need to reduce the gap if you are getting misfires (after cranking up the boost). Another alternative in this situation would be to upgrade the ignition or to use iridium plugs. I believe you actually get better combustion with a wider gap.
