Just ordered a couple of bits from PDM Racing in the States:
http://www.pdm-racing.com/specials/specials.html

Front Strut Bar $40 USD = £27.50
Short Shifter Kit $75 USD = £51.50
UPS = $107 Canadian Dollars = £47.50
Total = £130 approx'

Not bad?

I've been advised that the Strut Tower Bar will fit my S14, they are aware about the different engine.

I'll let you guys know when I receive the bits, should be next week sometime hopefully.

Bloody hell, that's a bit cheap eh ?
Strut bar for £27.50 !?
Let us know what it's like when it comes.

Question on this one, after you've fitted a strut bar do you have to get the camber/tracking/anything aligned ?

I don't see why you'd have to make any adjustments. The bar just bolts onto the suspension top bolts and holds the car more rigid.

I'll let you know my findings when it arrives Tom.

Far too many mods to list here, it takes up far too much space and after being asked very nicely I've decided to shorten the sig (Is that a WOOHOO I hear??)
I, have NO SMELLY TREE, have no plans for a smelly tree and do not want a smelly tree, EVER!!!
Do not take offence to anything I say, even though I probably mean it. I am more than slightly mad, so just chill de feck oooot, ok!

The bits arrived today, well sort of.

They came via UPS and I wasn't here so I'll have to wait in all day tomorrow!

7 days, not bad?

My bits from the USA arrived yesterday lunchtime.

The Front Strut Bar looks very nice indeed, fully adjustable with aluminium bar and blue powder coated end bits.

The quick shift kit looks very good as well, clear fitting instructions.

All I have to do is fit them when I get a chance!

The whole lot came in at £160 including import tax. I'm well chuffed.

For those of you that are coming to the Southern meet in Maidenhead, you can see for yourself.

Curious on knowing what happened then... Comments about the stuff? Pictures after fitting them?

(Old thread I know)

Does the Shire Horse Centre, meet still take place?

Not seen any postings, so I had assumed it had died.

With so many SXOC members from South Bucks, West London and Berkshire it would be worthwhile ressurecting it !

You need to get it checked. The none adjustable ones are fitted under pressure as in you have to push it in over the bolts in the top mount. any slight change can have an effect.
