Are we, as a region having one of these?
I guess it would be like a very large mega meet, with a chrismassy feel - perhaps xmas tree lights draped over the car, neon valve caps etc etc!?

Nicely

No-one's organised anything yet. However a MegaMeet would be due around this time.

Going on the general apathy displayed over the last one, I couldn't say how successful it would be. :indiff:

Ahhhhhh :indiff:
I must admit, i've only started reading this area in the last few weeks!:)
I did read a post which contained a lot of heated discussion centred around people's apathy etc :(
And, i must admit to be surprised by the lack of glos 200sxers at Santa Pod - perhaps its that time of year!? or perhaps peple don't like to meet. I personally say each to their own, but don't promise what you can't deliver on!
Its like IT suppliers - what abunch of "@£:$%, i've had a run of cockup after cockup .. arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhh:furious: but thats another story

I would definitely be up for this if I'm available at the time it's arranged (and my fecking 200 isn't broken again), and my diary's pretty empty at the moment! :)

No apathy here chaps :D

I'm fairly short on spare weekends between now & christmas, but would like to see you guys again, if it's on a weekend when I can make it :)

(Needless to say, wouldn't stand a hope in hell of making a weekday evening thing lol)

Okay, i guess we need to decide ..
location and
format ??

Although location would be dependant on - who came??
Is this a chicken and egg scenario?:wack:

Nicely

I await, with eager anticipation, to hear the location. ;)

Nicely
18-10-2003, 07:09
lol. That's fine until you realise there are very few places that are further from a motorway than Salisbury... :annoyed: :D

Bath or Bristol is fine with me. Or if you want somewhere closer to a motorway, what about out towards Gloucester/Cheltenham?

Jammers

Gloucester / Cheltenham is good for me

Pete C

Bath's not that far from a motorway! You can get from the M4 to my house in Bath in 10-15 mins max

And nearly two to get to Cheltenham  This would be even worse for those along the coast. However, let's see what the majority go for and I'll decide whether its worth it. :)

Unfortunately I've just looked at the calendar and I'm a bit screwed for weekends in December :( I'm working on Sun 7th and have the SE Xmas meal on Sat 13th...doesn't leave many other options lol. Might be able to make the 6th if you have it then...if not, will have to hang my head in shame and resign meself to not seeing most of you till the new year :o :(

If Sat 6th is a goer then either Bath or Bristol - makes little difference to me afaik - both straight down the M4, pretty much :)
