Throttle too light? Sore right leg on long journeys?

Is your S14 throttle too light and makes your right leg ache on long journeys?

Simply remove the pedal assmebly and give the return spring and extra half turn to increase pressure

This will allow you to rest more leg weight on the pedal and feel like a design intended for a heavy UK leg, not a lighter oriental leg!

I'm not the only one !!!

I've wrapped about 10 leggy bands around the lugs on the engine end of the cable.
Same effect as adjust pedal spring but far more likely to jam the throttle open http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

Also, the throttle pedal on my car was much too high relative to clutch. This was adjusted using the locknuts at the engine end of the cable too. However, when the pedal is released the cable goes very slack. This was fixed using blu-tak and a penny.
