While arsing around with the TC this weekend I had an idea. Why not move the exterior temp sensor and use it to measure inlet temperature? I reckon this would be a piece of piss to do and you'd have a nice readout on the dash...

Anyone else think this would work?

How strange. I had the exact same idea earlier today whilst also arsing around with someone's traction control. How weird!!! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif

Far too many mods to list here, it takes up far too much space and after being asked very nicely I've decided to shorten the sig (Is that a WOOHOO I hear??)
I, have NO SMELLY TREE, have no plans for a smelly tree and do not want a smelly tree, EVER!!!
Do not take offence to anything I say, even though I probably mean it. I am more than slightly mad, so just chill de feck oooot, ok!

Pukka idea mate, but I wonder how quickly the readout updates itself, it may not quick enough to get an on boost temp reading.

And who really give a feck about how hot/cold it is outside.

Hmm, good idea that.
Is the temp sensor the black plastic cylindrical thing infront of the radiator ?

Yep, thats the one. I thought it might be possible to take the plastic casing off just use the internals so as not to impede flow.

Ben,

I think it's a good idea. I also think it's a good idea if you do it first, and let us all know how you get on. http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif
