Does the turbo gradually lose performace with wear and tear or does it work 100% then blow up?

depends what makes it fail, oil seals may not even impare the turbo performance. If the shaft shatters, or you lose a couple of blades, it will be dead instantly. I think the standard oil feed pipes are the biggest culprit for total failure on the T25. And increased boost tends to shorten the life, I wouldnt want to be running more than 15psi on a standard T25, having ran mine at 20 psi for a week then dropped to 16 psi, it lasted about a month.

Where can you get uprated oil pipes for the turbo from?

PS

You've got to make sure the pipe fits into an enlarged hole - there's no point in connecting a bigger pipe to the same hole...

yos, in an ideal world you want a nice free flowing pipe. Tweeks will sell you a steel braided hose that *should* be less likely to clog. But its no more effective than cleaning the existing pipe without enlarging the feed, but all it takes is a clot the size of a lentil and it all starts to get rather expensive.

Size of a lentil? where he feed comes out of the block the 90degree thing has a hole 1.5mm in it.
