Well not yet, but I have an excellent opportunity to move in with a mate in a place literally just off Whiteladies Road (Clifton) for really not very much rent.

So am kinda looking to move down with a temp job, and look for somethin more permanent once there.

Scares me a bit though

Sounds like a good opportunity mate :) There's always jobs going down here, so it shouldn't be hard getting something temporary for a little while and then finding something more permanent quite quickly :) Especially for a man of your talents ;) :D

Excelent !!

If everyone is happy with the venue . it is over the motorway bridge into Wroughton and first right down a quiet road
the pub is next to the Motorway so noise isn't a real problem. there is easy access to J16,fairly easy to get to Marlborough and Avebury too.

I will be there this Tuesday as i always am. feel free to come along.

i assume Koko and Dystemper will be happy as this is also their watering hole.

Might be a good way to trade parts and make friends.
always handy with a 200

BTW congrats on the Job Jeff. i think a few others work around there too

Ta
Woody

good plan,

I shall be there, in either my 200 or as passenger in Koko's (which means i'll be drinking!)

a friend of mine from work reckons he'll pop along too, lives in Oxford but as we work 2 mins from the pub it'd be rude to go straight home!

Nicely

Well, it was a pretty poor turn out considering the number of board members thereabouts! :(

Never mind. Good to meet Woody, koko and Fish. Hopefully there will be more next time.

Yeah, good to meet Nicely.

Are you hoping that your car's ready for the next meet, Wood?

I know my wife is! She wants to use our drive once in a while

:annoyed:

Sorry I didn't make it. Had to go straight back to Bristol from Reading and by then was too late to go back to Wroughton. Anyway who would want me turning up in the Rover. If you hold another one will try to make it.

Jeff

Koko . pop around tonight if you want . assuming Big Fat Fish doesn't mind ( he wont ) . it's on his drive.

We originally thought Rings . but then Turbo as load of oil in intercooler on exit side and intake plennum full of oil too.

we will strip it down and degrease all the parts and makesure all the oil paths are clear . then whack it back together .

shall see what happens

Woody

I'm from Swindon, and the parents still live there so I'm up for it.

Don't know if the car will be back together by early Oct though. Might have to be the next one.

How about a meet in Penhill, then we can all loose our wheels together :)

Koko
10-09-2003, 11:14
LOL Creasey!

Even though I've only got standard alloys on mine, and they're a bit scruffy I think I'll give the P areas of Swindon a miss ;)

Koko
10-09-2003, 11:15
But it'd be good to meet you....and Nicely won't be the only lonely s14 then
