With me will be a scooby, supra, and of course 180sx...

Will be looking at passing my Baliey on to a lucky owner (anyone).....

I'm going to try and make it. Been lurking since the old board and am finally on the lookout for an S13 - may even have one by then :)

Working in London that day so may not make it till 8ish.

This will be my 1st meet so I hope you'll all be as friendly in person as you are on the board :)

I'll probably be turning up in the volvo - please don't hold that against me ;)

Matty2Fatty - don't worry, we'll look lost and bemused together as it will be my 1st time as well and I don't know anyone either.

I'll be getting there a bit late - about 8ish.

Any S13 owners there beware - I have a lot of newbie questions  ;) :D :D

All S13s are welcome, we need more S13s :D
Any questions on location or times etc just PM me, it's dead easy to find by the way.
Newbie S13 questions are always welcome :)
Can we all try to make it a bit organised this time please, if this meet continues to grow at the same rate as it did last time it could get very disorganised if we are not careful.

ie If S13's could park in the same sort of area, S14A's all together etc, and as usual no S14 will turn up  , depending what room the Scooby boys leave us of course (they keep turning up too early).

It would be great if we could get all the 200SX in one line between McDonald's and the end of the car park.

Has anyone spoken to Banzai or Jap Performance yet?

I've been meaning to talk to you. I'm getting a zorst next week i think

What difference did the car make with just the half system, loudness?

And how much difference/loudness did de-catting make...

Just trying to understand performance difference.

Anyway, what shiney things you dark horse :D

Running with the cats in, the Blitz was not that loud so I took the bung out and it was a bit louder than standard.

Decatting made a huge difference, I run it everyday with the bung in and just take it out for showing off/rr days (It gives me about 1psi extra boost with it out). With the bung it it's VERY loud.

I managed to get myself first in the queue for Brens induction box (cos I was on the phone to him just before he picked them up). Should be arriving Monday morning so hopefully be on for the meet.

Cheers NikB,

I was more interested about performance gains between standard - half system - half system & decat.....

Good to see that induction box, wonder if there easy to make. Might bring a ruler with me ;)

The sound of the blitz isn't a prob at the mo cause on tuesday i'll hear it. Be good to go down the road with and without it.

It will be good to feel the difference between the cars too...

Obviously yours is quicker until i get my FMIC:p

Advanced Warning for S13's, This is what I'll be bugging you about ;)

TPS - where is it and how do I use my multimeter to check continuity (ChrissyB for this one I think  )
Exhausts - listen to some and find out which one is rumbly lovely but not too loud on motorway cruising speed
Airbox Mods - checkout some of the options
Dials - White or black face and whether to mount in cubby hole or centre vents
Sunroofs - my replacement one is still not right - need to compare with others
Squeaky, squeaky birds in wheels - is it bearings or pads? I guess you experts will know

Please don't run away if you see me walking towards you on Tuesday night :D

(I'll be leaving South Kensington at about 6:30, should be with you by 8pm after I pop home quickly on the way out to the meet)

It's just north of Junction 11 of the M4. I haven't been before but looking at the map it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I'm heading back to Carshalton afterwards if you're going that way, it could make for a more entertaining drive?

From Junction 11. Head into reading, go across a few roundabouts, all dual carrigeway. Go past majeski stadium, can't miss it, then on you left you'll see the industrial estate, Comet, Homebase, KFC, Mc D's and a load of cars.

You simply turn left onto a slip road taking you into the industrial estate...

Its so easy even i could find it, and thats saying something

Be good to see you all...

It's on the A33 (40mph limit) dual carriageway into Reading from J11 of the M4, it's really simple to find from there and only about half a mile from J11.
It's on the far South side of Reading for anyone coming South.
In the massive car park there is:
MacDonalds, MacDonalds,
Kentucky Fried Chicken and a
Pizza Hut
Lol, the fast food song

Any news on Jap Performance?
I have a feeling there may be more than 100 cars turning up tonight :)

I'm washing my car after work, waiting for a mate, then should be nearing Comet around 6pm, I'll probably bring polish and stuff with me, coz my car needs it.
Looks like the weather will hold up nicely.
See you all there

You're not wrong. I just got off the phone to a friend from B'mouth and mentioned in passing that I was going to a club meet in Reading tonight. His reply.....

"Oh yeah, is that the one by the stadium?"

Me: "Feckin hell!, yeah. How did you know about it?"

Should have said hello fella! It's always nice to put a face to a name:wave:

Jolly F, Mike (McCAULEY), Si T and anyone else who assisted in organising a MASSIVE Well done

it was absolutely brilliant.

Met loads of peeps I'd never met before and saw some really quality cars.

For the first time I can think of the 200's outnumbered the Scoobies:eek:

There was a huge turn out of Hundies (well done folks)

Nice to see all the usual suspects (Grazor, JC200SX, Bean ExS14, ChrissyB)

And a big hi to all the new guys I met (JollyF, Mike McCauley, Si T, 200SXer, NikB, Psycosis, Steve S14a, Ritchie)

And I mustn't forget Kev S14 who had a cracking run up the M4 with me (the 4' flames were a REAL spectacle)

Apologies to anyone I've forgotten to mention (Dave, Karfu and a couple of others whose board names I can't remember)

It was a cracking night and even the Old Bill seemed quite chilled out. (they scared the scrabble brigade away too:thumbs: )

I've got a cracking piccie of the R34 owner who turned up late getting a bollocking from the Olb Bill for making too mch noise.

The copper introduced himself with the line "Ahhhh, it's you again!"

It appeared they were quite familiar with each other:wack:

I'll stick the pictures I took on Imagestation but I'll warn everyone now they're bloody awful:mad:

I'm gutted. but I've learnt three important lessons about my digital camera....

1) When using the flash avoid number plates as the reflection often overwhelms the picture.

2) When taking pictures in low light without the flash keep the camera REALLY still due to the longer exposure or it comes out all blurred.

3) Get a new feckin digital camera, cause this thing is shite:annoyed:

Hi Hates_ I didn't get to chat to as many people as I wanted to, but it's a bit strange when you don't know anyone. Qdos (Dave?? sorry mate, I've a brain like a seive) showed me round his car (liked the sleepy eyes  ) and ChrissyB looked over mine for me (thanks for pointing out the steering rack movement  ) He even went to get a torch to check out the engine bay in the dark - Thanks mate, I really appreciate your help.

See you in December ;)
