Only 7 days to go, the 3rd round of the OPT Drift Club D1 Grand Prix UK.
Its next monday on August Bank holiday, it starts at 2pm.....so really for all those that either work or dont like early starts there is no excuse !!
Its £95 to enter, and £5 per person to spectate. For details of how to enter, go to http://www.optionmotorsport.com and then click the Events link.
The comp will be judged by Tiff Needell and Dave Clarke, both love sideways driving !!
The day will run from 2pm until around 6- 6.30pm. There will be full ambulance and fire engines on hand. The circuit will be wetted. And helmets must be worn while on track.
There will be a convoy on the day, we will allow ourselves a fair bit of time because of Bank Holiday traffic....so,
11am meet at South Miims
11.30am leave South Mimms heading anti-clockwise on M25 then up the M1.
approx 12.15pm stop off in Newport Pagnell services to meet some people and fuel up with Optimax if you need it.
Approx 12.30pm leave Newport and head for silverstone to arrive before 1.30pm
please reply here so we know how many numbers to expect in the convoy.
