Steve, you dont need an adapter plate if you are fitting a T28, it bolts straight on to the manifold.
Check out the tuning section, engine tuning, fitting a T28.
I wrote this a while ago and tells the story of woe involved in fitting a T28.
Dont let this put you off though. I'm well happy with mine, now thats its on. Starts pulling gently from 2000rpm, hits 4000rpm and gos mental, pulling 15ish psi right round to the red line (and past).

Get one, especially for 150. We seem to have similar mods apart from the turbo and check out the quarter mile time I managed to get.

Is it that difficult to fit.

I'd love to had a go at doing it myself but I dont feel that confident.

Knowwing my luck I'll shear a bolt off or something

I didn't fit my T28,got the local Evo/Impreza
rally boys to fit mine, but they did manage to shear the exhaust stud nearest the bulkhead. They ended up taking the head off to get to it.

Sorry to bring you down, but fore warned is fore knowing that things can go tits-up

By the way they fitted a T28 hybrid off of a group N spec GTiR...Standard exhaust side but a bigger, clipped comp side with a 360 bearing.Spool's up at about 2500rpm and hold's 16psi deep into the red line
