PCV valve?

what is a PCV valve and what do it do?

It's a oneway valve that lets some of the blow-by gases get sucked through the inlet manifold and get reburnt.I took mine out and plugged the hole and the hole near the air filter and run the pipe to a catch tank instead. It helps the emissions(maybe) and reduces big puffs of smoke on full boost.

I've got a free flow crackase beather system on mine, it pevents excess pressure from building up and causing damage. its not essential on a 200sx, unlike my old bimma and sierra
