s13 sump

hi looking for a little advice guys.....oil leak has been diagnosed as a rusted sump...any ideas if new sump can be fitted without removing engine? and also how many hours for the job?

Where is it rusted?

it's a hack I know but I used some Plastic Padding Leak Fix to stop my sump leaking.

It can be done with the engine in but only just.

The nissan book time for this job (engine oil pan ) is 1.9 hours in a fully kitted out workshop. and yes it is done without removeal of the engine.
