View Full Version : Boost Question

Right - I'm new to this game, so treat me gently...
I've got an S13 which is in good mechanical condition (touch wood) at about 90,000 miles. If I just slap on a 12 or 15psi actuator and some colder plugs, what will happen? Will it go bang, will I hit the fuel cut (is there one?) or what? Sorry if its been asked already http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

You will hit Fuel Cut at 15psi. You should also get the timing adjusted to cope with the extra boost. Also get the fueling checked to make sure that its spot on.

Hope that helps.

Cheers Dave - so does 15psi mean you hit the fuel cut every time you put ya foot down, or is this the safe limit? Don't want to be kangarooing down the road...

Hi,
You probably wont hit the Fuel cut in this weather, but as it gets colder (like in the Winter!) you most certainly will.
- denser air you see!
