Just got me oil pressure gauge!
Looks good and it comes with the T-piece to thread in the block, with the existing oil pressure switch nutting into the T.
One point - it gives readings in 100kpa's (kilo pascals according to Mr Carter).
What is a kps in relation to a psi?

Sorry if I'm being lazy, but one of you lot might know off the top of your head!

Cheers guys,

Matt

Hi mat,
to convert pascals into psi you multiply by 1.45 X 0.000010 or in plain english 100000 (100Kpa) X 1.45= 145000 X 0.000010 = 1.45psi

Cheers Nat, Surely theres something missing though!
If 100 kPa = 1.45 psi, my gauge is only gonna spend its life bending the needle (it reads up to 10 (x 100kPa).
Or am I misunder stood?
Does 1 kPa = 14.5 psi?
That would seem more viable, the gage would then read up to 145 psi.

Scuse meef or beang fick!!

Have I got it now?

PS tried the gauges in the a pillar pod 2nite - looks better than I'd hoped for - niiiiiiiiiiiiice! I show you at SP, 17/6/01
