gave interpart a call today about getting a s13 engine, they had sold them all though. but the bloke on the phone said dont bother with the s13 lump, get the s14 engine, coz they hads lot of um, and because there newer have lower miles on them. he said for the complete conversion it would be £1500 for the bits, which were engine, gear box, wiring loom, and ecu. is that worth it? and is that all i need? i'm thinking this might be a good idea, does any one know how it fits in? i would think that it would just all bolt in the same, well i hope it does!

WOW!! that sounds really good, 1500 quid for the sr20det! i would only check what my insurance is going to do, see who can fit it and how much it is as well as do what matt_s said http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

AFM = Air Flow Meter

1500 is not a bad price for a low mileage SR20DET (I've seen lightly damaged complete cars going for about 1700). The engine will fit in really easily (apart from the wires, due to the VVT). Have a look at www.unstable-hybrids.com, (http://www.unstable-hybrids.com,) or www.240sx.org (http://www.240sx.org) for info on the swap (admittedly this is a swap from a KA24DE to a red top SR20DET, but it'll give you a few ideas).
