Aircon is damn good. Makes long trips in hot weather very comfy! Also, car with aircon are an attractive option to future buyers!

I think its good too. But installing it in a non-air con car would be a real hastle. You'd have to take loads of stuff apart - it'd take ages I reckon. Better off getting another car really.

Having not had a/c in my first 200 and then having it on the last two I wouldn't want one without it.

On those those hot summer days (like yesterday) it's excellant when you're sat in traffic or round town.

Whilst it will, marginally, sap power
a) Who'll notice and
b) Who gives a toss!

As for fuel you lose about 1MPG.

If you DON'T have a/c you'll find, on a HOT day, you'll lose about a 1LB an hour in sweat!

as i have said befor, the aircon turns off when engines under load, so you lose no power when you need it

I thought that only happens on the 300zx king, didnt know it happens in the 200.
and yeah, had a/c b4 and it helps a lot on the hot days... well just wanted to know for when i have spare cash lying around.
