Okay, today was mongoose day. A trip to demon tweeks, and a big grin would have been plastered across my face. But no, the gods are giggling. Im too gutted to type really. Theres a strange rattle at 2500rpm which goes if you touch the throttle or drop below 2500rpm. HAd to keep the money incase it turns out to be bad. How much of a crap Saturday is that??! Just spent 2 hours with my ear pressed next to everything with a moving part. Seems to come from the cam cover of all things. Humbug.

I too have had the money for a mongoose system sitting in my wallet for 2weeks now,but like you i have started to hear an intermitant noise,which sounds like its from the power steering motor,or the AC motor,or even the cam belt area.Fingers crossed i have not heard it for about 4 days now.So Chimp i know exactaly how you feel.
