I'll get a full list of what we physically have up on Monday :)
Slovenia isn't too bad to post to, from memory about £35 for a pair of tyres, but I may be out in either direction on that :)
Cheers mate, that's not bad considering the size and weight :)
These are AMAZING.
Seriously, blown away by them. We all use them at DW, including the 2 drift cars, and its obvious to see what they can do.
They actually work in the wet unlike R888 too...

I have got some more feedback on these following some heavy duty testing...
In the dry, they're a little off the pace for the first 5 or so laps, maybe 1.5 seconds on a R888, maybe closer than that...
After those 5 laps, right when the R888s start to go off, the Federals keep on going, and for my money are ideal for people doing track days that want a tyre that will perform, last and give them a reliable and predictable drive time and time again :)
Driftworks also give them hell on a regular basis, and they get their money's worth from tyres :D

03-10-2010, 12:23
dont they do any wider than a 255 on 17"?
i think i need 275's minimum
How good are they? Honestly? Compared to an R888.
Evilchap
03-10-2010, 13:21
255 is as wide as they do in 17" I believe :( They go wider in 18"
Compared with an R888 they're not quite as fast. They dont however get overheated and go off like an R888, so if you've got lots of power and you're spending a while on track, they'll perform for longer at the same level.

Evilchap

£648.60 Inc. VAT and Delivery - in stock here ready to go, delivery should be next day, but depends on the courier as in some areas they have a backlog :)
Oh I didn't realise your prices in the first post were plus VAT :(
Which makes you dearer than tyretraders @ £613.35 delivered.

Evilchap
03-06-2011, 16:34
There's no stock of these at present :(
We do have some Yokohama AO48 for £175 inc. VAT per tyre however, in this very size - which is a total bargain for a tyre that's normally £454 per tyre!
Any chance of 185/55/14?
need tyres for the 106
They the advan semi slick tyre? I believe their the ones I have on the front? Similar to r888 but a bit better in the wet?
Evilchap
06-06-2011, 13:44
The A048 is the Yokohama equivalent of the R888, probably the same in the wet, but many people find them faster all round generally.
No 14s I am afraid.
Could I get a price on a pair of 195/50 r15s delivered to Ireland
Thanks

Can you use these on a daily alright?
Evilchap

You can - more so than an r888 for example, but they wont last as long as a road tyre. :-)

225/40/18 = £112 +vat
255/35/18 = £130 +vat
Hi mate, do you have them in the following sizes:
225/45R18
245/45R18
ignore me, just looked on http://www.federaltire.com/en/images/products/20120711232529671.pdf and they don't make them in those sizes. :(
