ahhhhhh didnt realise they were completely flat black! I think my arm has been twisted now!

Evilchap you may well have a pm from me during the day! Whats the best way to get payment to you is it best to ring you and pay by card or paypal? And how long is the delivery on these as i think you said you had a set of these in the sizes i wanted in the pm you sent me the other day!

Wish i could see what these looked like using the virtual wheel fitting bay on your site!

Oh and also when would you have more 9.5 j et 12.s in or is there not much difference in the et25 ie angle of the spokes?

Evilchap
29-04-2010, 08:25
Angle of the spokes is unchanged between different offsets :)

Payment by card over the phone is easiest, but paypal is fine too as long as you either add the fees, or send it in a way with no fees :)

Our number is 01363 777 007 and paypal is sales@rarerims.co.uk

That could potentially be a move for me. Bronze to match the front GTR's, nice wider rear 1/4's blended in for the smooth look, sticking with the standard bodykit.........There's an idea :)

They are easy to fit, just use the 5 nuts :D

Easy thogh, 50mm 1/4 with et0 or stock arch with lots of flair and a bit of camber with et20. This only applys with 265/275 tyres, iw you want to run wider youl need et20 with 50mm 1/4:thumbs:

sorry to be a pain lol, can you do the et20 in 18x10 and will the dish be a macho 5" or have less manlyness?

Evilchap
23-06-2010, 21:58
18x10s come in ET12 or ET35. They have less dish than the 18x12s for obvious reasons, but still plenty ;)

so.... if i had a stock bodied s14a on standard suspension (for now), what would be the widest i could fit at the rear, from the sizes available for flat black without any arch work or clearance problems. would it be possible to have a staggered set? sorry for the complex question, i have no practical experience in choosing the right size wheels.

thanks

If you have a stock bodied without rolling arches, then I would go for 18x9.5 et25 front, and 18x10 et35 rear.

We have this available, BUT two wheels have been on a show car, so have been fitted to a car and removed.

There would of course be a discount on these two wheels, and essentially, they are as new :)

Hope this helps

This is J here by the way :)

People correct me if im wrong, but:

Et20 with a 255.35.18 and 18x9.5 works with a roll correct?

From my estimation 18x12 et20 with a 255.35.18 (stretched) would still only need a roll :)

Someone try it please :)

Srub that lol :ken:

looking at some pics the dish looks good on the et35s and guess with some 20mm spacers they'll give me more room for my bigger brakes.

Do you have them in stock??

Post 60 is the current stock levels near enough ;)

ET35 and ET12 have the same dish, the difference is in the centre of the wheel ;)

18x10 are £240 each, 18x9.5 are £230. That's per wheel inc. VAT.

Paid up members get 10% off of course ;)

Also is there a difference in the brake clearance?

When you gonna do a Grid-D :D

It'll be a while before something like that comes along, I think next is Forces in 18x11, and a brand new wheel designed by a customer (I am afraid not you :() will be next to come in the sizes for 200s :)

Would it be possible to get a set with

GTR 17x9" front
GTR-D 18x10" rear

If I would like the wheels with matching colors what would be my options?

Also would 345mm brakes fit under the 17" GTR's?

And one more question, do you have Federal RS-R at 235/40/17 + 255/35/18 in stock?

There are almost no 17s that will take 345mm brakes, you'll need 18s.

That's a shame. Guess I'll have to go for a different wheel setup then...

I think those brakes may well work :-) can you tell me the internal diameter you need? We can make a set in bronze, white or gunmetal i believe :-)

Is there any difference in dish between the 9.5j and 10j?

It's DB-Power 345mm kit using the stock calibers. Any idea it would fit?

Gunmetal sounds good

Dish is pretty much the same with 9.5 and 10 :-)

I'll check with dan on wheel clearance and get back to you.

Ben,

The Bronze GTR-D's. You got any photo's of them on some 200's? I can't seem to find any in bronze :)

Evilchap
27-07-2011, 12:15
Actually not yet I dont think!

No news on the clearance side of things, the internal diameter will be fine but the spoke clearance I am not sure one...

Chris Cooke has some but I am not sure if he's 345 or 330mm...

Daz

Cheers Ben.

Chris is running 345mm with standard S14a Calipers. Can't remember what offset and spacer he's running though.

Evilchap

He ran then in 18x9.5 ET25 up front, probably with spacing now, but I am 99% sure clearance over the brakes wasn't an issue - the spacers are just added for the look of it :)

I've got 10mm in my head from chatting to him at the weekender. Not sure it that was ET10 or 10mm spacer.

Just realised the guy above was asking if they'd fit under 17's doh.

I'm runing 9.5 et10 on the front with a 225/40/18 tyre. Et25/20 hit my hsd's so needed spacing. Looks loads better this way anyway

There is someone on here running the bronze gtr-d's on a sapphire blue 14a. Not sure on the user name bu think it could well be Dare
